As the rain poured down on Syringa Provincial Park, an enchanting love story unfolded against the backdrop of misty mountains and glistening lakes. Justine and Jeff's wedding day was nothing short of magical, with every moment captured beautifully by Larissa's lens.
A Unique Beginning
The day began with a touching first look and private vows exchange between the couple, overlooking the serene mountain valley and Arrow Lakes. It was a moment of pure intimacy and connection, setting the tone for a day filled with love and
authenticity.
Despite the weather's unpredictability, the rain stopped just in time for the ceremony, adding a sense of freshness and romance to the atmosphere. Justine and Jeff legally expressed their love to one another accompanied by their mini schnauzer Stella and a small group of family and friends.
The bridal party defied tradition by donning elegant black attire, with the ladies keeping warm by their hand knitted shawls from the Mothers of Bride & Groom and the Bride herself, a bold choice that perfectly complemented the natural surroundings.
Personal Touches and Joyful Celebrations
The reception at Warfield Hall was a lively affair, with guests participating in a fun rock-paper-scissors game for dinner, courtesy of Premier Chef Services.
As the evening unfolded, the freshly baked pies from Kootenay Pie Co filled the plates, adding a sweet touch to the celebration. Laughter and love echoed through the hall, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
Embracing the Unexpected
In the face of uncertain weather and unconventional choices, Justine and Jeff's wedding day embodied the beauty of embracing the unexpected. It was a testament to their love, resilience, and commitment to each other, come rain or shine.
